This was a very original take on paranormal. I have never heard of these creatures and love learning while reading a good story. It was a little heavy on the breakdancing lingo for a layman. There is also things that will date this book (keeping it from timelessness) but the story is sound. It made me consider the aspect of choices and consequences. I would have to say I would be interested in reading another book from Msl. Van Diepen.
