Candor by Pam Bachorz

Candor Candor by Pam Bachorz

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This book was a very enjoyable read. I really liked the marketing aspects of the coordinating podcasts. What a unique experience to add to reading this book. I would love to see Ms. Bachorz write more to the story but I have not heard that she is. There are so many good reads in the YA genre right now in this is definitely one that should be passed around.

Tempted-- Book 6 of House of Night

Tempted (House of Night, #6) Tempted by P.C. Cast

Book six in this series was a little slow but has a heart renching cliff hanger at the end. I am devoted to seeing this series out as I do enjoy the story I just really enjoy the way Ms Cast writes action and there didn't seem to be much of that in this story. Still it is a nice cohesive book in the series and I would still recommend it. Just maybe reading it closer to when the next book comes out.

Hush, Hush loud and clear

Hush, Hush Hush, Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick

My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I read this book as soon as I could and hoped that it would live up to all the glowing comments I read on twitter and the web. This book was a steady delight. Her characterization was very real. Each character's human flaw that makes them unique showed through. The pace of the book was great right through the climax but the end was a bit abrupt. I would recommend this book to anyone but cation them that the end will leave you wanting Crescendo.

Tunnels of Blood - Cirque De Freak Vol 3

Tunnels of Blood (Cirque Du Freak, #3) Tunnels of Blood by Darren Shan

My rating: 3 of 5 stars
These books just get better. I really enjoy the manipulations in the plot. Darren is really coming into his own. He does portray the perfect "half" vampire. I see Mr. Crepsley slowly appreciating him more and more. This book has just enough emotion as to not make it sappy. I am seriously going to try to get my 'not so into reading' son to try these.

Cirque De Freak - The Vampire's Assistant

The Vampire's Assistant (Cirque Du Freak, #2) The Vampire's Assistant by Darren Shan

I liked this book much more than the first. Definately a great sophomore effort from Mr. Shan. I have the next one and am going to jump right in and read it. I really hope I can convince my son to read them.
